Welcome to Ted O’Connell Photography. I have been involved in photography since 1988 and I cover most kinds of events but two of my main interests would be Rallying and Trad/Folk Musicians. Based in Macroom, Co. Cork there is no scarcity of Motorsport, Music or beautiful scenery to photograph.
In the past I have had the pleasure of working with documentary photojournalist Eileen O’Leary in the production of a book of Photographs of the local area in which one of my 11 photos in the book made the Cover shot. Over the years I have worked as a Freelance Photographer and have had some of my work used in publications such as The Evening Echo, The West Cork People, Flat 2the Mat, The Kingdom, The Irish Vintage Scene, to name but a few, as well as various Calendars and Postcards.
I have undertaken other functions such as weddings, birthday party’s, special occasions. As I am well known for my “Candid Camera” style shots, I often incorporate this into the wedding photography as well. I understand that the needs of each client are different and although I offer basic services and packages, I am also willing to discuss your unique requests.
